German Tourist Dies After Sudden Illness in Limone sul Garda Pool Tragedy
A 66-year-old German tourist died after suffering a medical emergency while in the swimming area of a hotel in Limone sul Garda. The alarm was raised shortly after 1 p.m. on Via Tamas, where the Garda Volunteers and the air ambulance arrived within minutes, but the man was already in cardiac arrest when paramedics reached him.
Emergency services from Italy’s 118 attempted prolonged resuscitation, but all efforts were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead on site. Carabinieri officers also arrived to investigate and reconstruct the incident, while the exact cause of the medical emergency remains to be clarified.
