Strabilio Festival Returns in August With Clowning and Circus Acts Across Lake Garda and Brescia Province

Strabilio Festival will bring contemporary circus and clowning to squares, castles and parks across the province of Brescia from **1 to 29 August**, with companies from **Belgium, Germany, France, Argentina, Spain and Italy**. The programme also includes several Garda-area towns and ends in **Bogliaco di Gargnano**.

The festival opens on **Saturday 1 August at 21:15** at the **Parco Fossati in Toscolano Maderno**, where Lannutti & Corbo stage **“All’inCirco Varietà”**. On **Friday 7 August at 18:30**, **Padenghe sul Garda** hosts **Bert & Fred** with **“Détour”** (described as a first national preview), with a repeat the following day at **Rocca d’Anfo**; **11 August** sees **Soiano del Lago** welcome **Matthias Romir** for **“Schwarz”**. The mid-month line-up includes **Gavardo** (**13 August**: **Andrea Farnetani “Gustavo la Vita”**; **24 August**: **“The Crazy Mozarts”**), **Casto** (**22 August**: **Circo Carpa Diem “Dolce Salato”**), **Pertica Alta** (**23 August**: **Mundo Costrini “Humanus Comicus”**), and the closing dates in **Bogliaco**.

The Garda finale is by **Les Triphasés** with **“KOSTÜM”** on **Thursday 27 August at 21:15** in **Piazza Sauro, Bogliaco di Gargnano**, with a further performance on **29 August** in **Villanuova sul Clisi**; if weather is bad, Bogliaco’s show is moved to **Sunday 30 August**. All events are **free entry** until seats run out, with updates posted on **Strabilio Festival’s** website.
