Sant’Ercolano Festival Returns in Maderno

The Sant’Ercolano Maderno festival continues through Wednesday, August 12, with religious celebrations and events across the historic center and the waterfront. Monday, August 10, Piazza San Marco hosts the 12th edition of “Madonnari per Sant’Ercolano” from 9:00 to 17:00, with the public jury vote scheduled between 17:00 and 21:00. The same day includes activities for children, a guided route to sites linked to the saint, and a historical reenactment at 21:30.

Tuesday, August 11, the waterfront will feature an artisan market, followed at 23:00 by fireworks over the Maderno gulf. On Wednesday, the patron saint’s day, a procession carrying the relics will depart at 10:30 from the monumental church toward the parish church, followed by a blessing of the waters. The program ends at 21:00 in Piazza San Marco with a concert by the city band “G. Verdi.”
