Opera Stars Return to the Arena on August 17

The 16th edition of **“Stelle della Lirica”** returns on **Monday, 17 August at 8:30 pm** at the **Parco Giardino Sigurtà** in **Valeggio sul Mincio**. The event will take place in the garden at **Via Cavour** and will feature solo voices, orchestra and choir performing a programme drawn from well-known operatic repertoire.

Organised by the **Associazione Arti e Mestieri Valeggio**, with the **patronage** of the municipality and the **Pro Loco**, the concert will star **soprano Francesca Dotto** and **tenor Marco Berti**, accompanied by the **Orchestra dei Colli Morenici** conducted by **Roberto Gianola**. For 2026, the **San Filippo Neri Lyric Choir**—with **over 40 singers**—joins the line-up. The programme includes pieces such as **“Nessun dorma”** and **“Va’, pensiero”**.

Tickets cost **€17** and are available in advance at the **Pro Loco** in **Piazza Carlo Alberto 44**. If rain is forecast from the morning, the show will move to the **Palazzetto dello Sport** in **Via dello Sport**; in the alternative venue, **seat numbering will not be preserved**.
