Gargnano to Host Four Events Blending History, Music and Antiques
Four events are scheduled in Gargnano and Bogliaco between Tuesday 11 and Sunday 16 August 2026, featuring guided tours, talks, music and a market show. The programme is promoted or sponsored by the Culture Department of the Municipality of Gargnano and takes place across multiple locations in the area.
The series “Gargnano, la Storia e i suoi luoghi” focuses on local events marking the end of World War II in the Garda region. On 11 August at 6.30 pm, Cinzia Pasini will lead the guided tour “Ville, uffici e luoghi della RSI a Gargnano” (meet at the “Le Fontanelle” car park; about two hours; free but reservation required). On 12 August at 9 pm, the Brolo della Canonica will host the talk “Il Duce e il Parroco” by Prof. Bruno Festa (free with reservation; if bad weather, it will move to Sala Castellani). On 15 August at 9 pm, Bogliaco di Gargnano’s Piazza Nazario Sauro will hold “ItaliA 90”, a tribute concert to 1990s Italian music, with free entry until seats are filled. Finally, on 16 August from 10 am to 6 pm, Piazza Feltrinelli and the lakeside promenade in Gargnano will host the “Antiquariato, Modernariato e Vintage” Market Exhibition, involving several municipal departments and part of a wider calendar that also includes events on 13 September and 18 October 2026.
