What’s On Around Lake Garda This Weekend (Aug 14–16, 2026)

Events across Lake Garda over the Ferragosto weekend will include music nights, exhibitions, markets, open-air cinema and local traditional appointments in towns on the shore and inland. Several venues are already running summer programmes: Gardaland Resort in Castelnuovo del Garda hosts “Minecraft Meet The Mobs” until 28 August, while the Forte di Nago in Nago-Torbole continues the “Display” art exhibition curated by Fondazione Caritro until 6 September (free entry, with set opening hours). In Sirmione, Palazzo Callas Exhibitions presents “Wound | Ferita”, part of the Sirmione Photography Prize 2025, until 27 September.

On Friday 14 August, Castelletto di Brenzone hosts the “Mercato Forte dei Marmi” (8:00-19:00) and a photo exhibition on motorsport women at 17:30, followed by the Starlight Market in the evening and “In Cammino con Maria” at 20:00. Sirmione’s Friday market runs on Via Colombare (19:00-23:00) with a music event in Piazza Carducci from 20:00 to 22:30. At the Vittoriale degli Italiani in Gardone Riviera, “Notturnale 2026” starts at 20:45 with a guided itinerary and a 55-euro ticket. The weekend also includes the “fiera delle Grazie” and the 52nd national Madonnari meeting in Grazie di Curtatone (with madonnari working 13-15 August and the fair-market continuing until 16 August). On Saturday 15 August, events include “La tavola infinita” in Castelletto (19:30), the 49th Grancocerto di Ferragosto in Salò (21:00), and tribute concerts in Bogliaco di Gargnano (21:00, free entry) and elsewhere; on Sunday 16 August, Gargnano hosts an antiques/vintage market (10:00-18:00) and Sirmione offers free open-air cinema at Punta Grò (21:00) with “Back to the Future.”
