Benàcus: Lake Garda and Its Morainic Hills in the Photography of Giorgio Attilio Mutti

The monumental Rocca di Lonato del Garda hosts “Benàcus: Lake Garda and Its Morainic Hills in the Photography of Giorgio Attilio Mutti”, an extraordinary exhibition presented by the Fondazione Ugo Da Como from September 11, 2026 to January 6, 2027.

Featuring fifty evocative photographs spanning forty years of dedicated observation, the exhibition curated by Costanza Lunardi captures the four seasons across a fragile, breathtaking ecosystem: from spring wood anemones and blackcaps to summer kestrels above Monte Sasso, autumn buzzards near Pilandro, and winter hellebores.

As highlighted by Giovanna Nocivelli, director of the Rocca di Lonato – Fondazione Ugo Da Como, the exhibition celebrates biodiversity and natural heritage in harmony with Article 9 of the Italian Constitution, offering visitors an unforgettable journey through art, history, and ecological awareness.

Curated by Costanza Lunardi for Fondazione Ugo Da Como.
