Alessandro Chincherini Golf Cup Raises €51,690 for AMO Baldo Garda

The Alessandro Chincherini Golf Cup raised €51,690 for AMO Baldo Garda during its fifth edition on Saturday, August 29, at Golf Ca’ degli Ulivi in Marciaga. The event brought together 100 golfers for a day combining sport and fundraising in memory of Alessandro Chincherini, who passed away in 2021.

The tournament was played over 18 holes, followed by an aperitif, dinner, live music, a lottery, and a charity auction. The initiative was launched five years ago by Luciano Chincherini, owner of the Chincherini Holiday Group and Alessandro’s son, with the goal of donating the full amount collected to AMO Baldo Garda; over time, it has grown through the support of friends, companies, suppliers, professionals, and other contributors.

A significant share of the total came from participating suppliers and professionals, as well as items donated for the auction and lottery and the entry fees for the golf and evening events. Luciano Chincherini said the memorial began after his father’s death, when he proposed doing something for AMO, and noted that the donation is intended as a concrete way to support the local community. AMO Baldo Garda, active since 2003, provides free home assistance to people with cancer and support for their families, with its president Ivan De Beni highlighting the role of the wider network of supporters in sustaining the association’s care and support.
