Around 20 wild boars were spotted on the beach at Torri del Benaco, in località Piaghen, on the evening of 15 September. The sighting adds to an increasingly established pattern: encounters with wild boars are reported as extremely frequent across the province of Verona and are becoming more common even in urban areas.
Residents are increasingly being asked to get used to living alongside this wildlife, which is appearing in growing numbers in public and recreational spaces in the area. Sightings are said to be concentrated mainly between the province of Verona and the city, where the species is finding more space.
