Tignale: Motorcyclist Crashes on SP38, Lands in the Ditch

On the afternoon of Saturday 19 September, a motorcyclist fell from the SP38 in the area of Tignale, dropping into the embankment below the roadway. The independent fall made it necessary to coordinate multiple emergency services, including the permanent Fire Brigade personnel from the Salò detachment and volunteers from Tremosine, the 118 medical staff, the Alpine and Speleological Rescue team, and the Verona air ambulance.

Rescuers reached the motorcyclist on the difficult terrain of the embankment and carried out stabilization procedures. Due to the steepness of the slope, they used SAF techniques (Speleo Alpino Fluviale), a specialized capability of the Fire Brigade for operations in challenging scenarios. The injured person was then recovered onto the road surface and handed over to the medical staff, with the rescue operation concluding without further complications.
