The winter timetable for Lake Garda Ferries officially begins on Monday, October 5. According to Navigazione Laghi, the standard ferry service connecting the lower lake (Desenzano, Peschiera, Sirmione) to the upper lake (Malcesine, Limone, Riva del Garda) will run until Sunday, November 1.
From November 2 through mid-March 2027, the only active route on Lake Garda will be the car ferry operating between Toscolano Maderno and Torri del Benaco.
Maderno-Torri Winter Ferry
The car ferry linking the Brescia and Verona shores will maintain its dedicated winter schedule. Travelers should note the restriction implemented on September 3 remains in effect: specific runs (231 to 246) are limited to cars, motorcycles, and bicycles, while buses and heavy trucks must use runs 201 to 218.
For passenger boats operating until November 1, bicycle transport is subject to space availability and the captain’s discretion, with fares reaching up to 6.90 euros for the longest crossings. Wheelchair access is guaranteed, though travelers are advised to contact Navigazione Laghi in advance.
