The 95th Bardolino Grape Festival (Festa dell’Uva e del Vino) is currently animating the Veronese shore and will continue until Monday, October 5. The monumental event is supported by approximately a thousand volunteers and features over 30 food and wine stands scattered along the lakefront and historical center.
The festival involves local wineries and associations, offering a rich program of activities. A notable addition this year is the introduction of evening return buses to the Upper Garda area, alongside the use of water cartons instead of single-use plastic bottles to improve sustainability.
Events, Tastings, and Traditions
The weekend schedule is packed with traditional and cultural events. Highlights include the “Tra vigne e uliveti” guided excursions with tastings on Friday and Saturday mornings, and the “Vino & Arte” videomapping projected on Villa Terzi. Sunday features the traditional grape crushing at 12:30 PM, the wine competition awards for 32 local labels, and a spectacular musical fireworks display scheduled for 10:00 PM.
