A traffic accident occurred today, April 18, 2025, around 12:30 PM in Salò, on Via Europa, along the road connecting Tormini to Campoverde. Two cars were involved in a head-on collision, with three children involved aged between 6 and 11 years traveling in one of the vehicles alongside a 62-year-old relative. Three ambulances responded to the scene, two of which were on red alert, along with a medical emergency vehicle.
The three children were transported to the Pediatric Hospital in Brescia with head injuries; the eight-year-old girl also suffered a facial injury. The relative driving did not require hospitalization, while the driver of the other vehicle, a 39-year-old man, was transferred in yellow alert to the hospital in Desenzano. The road was closed to traffic to facilitate rescue operations and was reopened around 2:30 PM. Firefighters and local police also arrived on the scene to manage the situation.
