A road accident raised concerns in Villanuova sul Clisi on the afternoon of Saturday, April 27, when a motorist entered the ring road in the wrong direction, ultimately ending up off the road. The alert was immediate, with two patrols from the Local Police of Valle Sabbia arriving at the scene within minutes. The officers secured the area and provided first aid to the driver, while the reasons behind the reckless behavior are currently under investigation.
Fortunately, despite the potential danger to other road users, the incident resulted in no serious injuries; the driver emerged practically unscathed from the vehicle. Traffic in the area was restored in about half an hour, helping to prevent further disruptions. Local authorities are now assessing measures to enhance road safety in the area.
