Events on Lake Garda Aug. 17–20, 2026: This Week’s Top Picks

A series of events across Lake Garda is scheduled from Monday 17 to Thursday 20 August, featuring exhibitions, sports and music, markets, and leisure activities along the Brescia, Verona and Trento shores.

In Castelnuovo del Garda, Gardaland Resort runs “Minecraft Meet The Mobs” until 28 August. At Forte di Nago in Nago-Torbole, the “Display” exhibition continues until 6 September with free entry (group and school visits by appointment). In Sirmione, “Wound | Ferita” (Sirmione Photo Prize, 2025 edition) is open until 27 September. In Pozzolengo, “Olimpiadi della Vita” continues until 20 August. On Monday night, Riva del Garda hosts the “Calciomercato” beach stage at Spiaggia degli Olivi, with daily live broadcasts until 21 August and a 21 August concert by Alessandro Bonan and his band. Valeggio sul Mincio holds “Stelle della Lirica” on Monday at 20:30, featuring Dotto and Berti.

From Tuesday, Sirmione’s municipal library welcomes the “Club del Gomitolo” crochet group. On Wednesday, Assenza (Brenzone) starts “Assenza in Festa” at 19:00, while Castelletto hosts an extra-virgin olive oil tasting at 11:00. Thursday in Brenzone begins with an oil tasting at 9:00 near Bar Barchet in Acquafresca, followed by “Yoga on the Beach” at the Magugnano beach area. Later, Magugnano runs “Starlight Market Crafts Art & Music” from 18:00 to 23:00.
