A scholarship worth 5,000 euros, along with an internship at the Casa Perbellini Dodici Apostoli restaurant, has been established in memory of Alma Ambrosi, a key figure at the renowned Vecchia Lugana restaurant. This initiative, promoted by Pier Antonio Ambrosi, aims to raise awareness about the importance of Italian gastronomy and education in hospitality schools. The funds will be equally divided between the selected student and the restaurant that will host them for practical training. This scholarship is now in its fourth edition and will be awarded on Wednesday, May 28, in Verona.
The award ceremony will take place at the new restaurant of the famous chef Giancarlo Perbellini, who boasts a long career filled with accolades, including three Michelin Stars. This year, the honor will go to a student from the Stimmatini hospitality institute in Verona, with the goal of promoting the professional training of young people in the culinary sector. Previous editions have recognized students from prestigious Italian culinary institutions, thereby reinforcing the connection between tradition and innovation in Italian cuisine.
