An incident occurred this morning, Sunday, June 15, in Toscolano Maderno, where a 43-year-old woman accidentally fell into the lake while walking along the lakeside promenade. The incident took place around 9:00 AM, and reportedly, the woman’s husband was able to reach her and bring her back to shore shortly after the fall.
Emergency services were immediately alerted, and responders from 118 arrived on the scene along with the Coast Guard and the Brescia air rescue, which had taken off from Verona to provide assistance. After receiving initial care on-site, the woman was transported in yellow code to the Civil Hospital of Brescia for further medical evaluation.
