A car accident occurred late this morning, Sunday, July 6, in Peschiera del Garda, involving three vehicles on the regional road 11. The call for assistance was received around 11:30 AM, prompting a swift response from the Red Cross, local police officers, firefighters from the Bardolino station, and the Carabinieri. For reasons yet to be clarified, two of the three cars ended up in the ditch beside the roadway.
The accident resulted in injuries to eight people, one of whom is in serious condition. Seven injured individuals were transported to the hospital by helicopter and ambulance, while an eighth person received assistance at the scene without the need for hospitalization.
