Moments of concern occurred yesterday afternoon in Valvestino, along the road connecting Armo to Turano, where a 43-year-old cyclist suffered a serious fall while navigating a descent. The man, engaged in a mountain biking excursion, lost control of his bike at the first bend on Via Trento, landing on the asphalt and sustaining multiple contusions to his limbs and bodily trauma. Fortunately, those who rushed to his aid found that the cyclist was conscious and able to move, although his condition was serious.
Given the isolated location of the road and the difficulty of access for traditional rescue vehicles, the intervention of the air ambulance was requested, dispatched from the Spedali Civili of Brescia. The aircraft landed in Turano to await the arrival of the Volontari del Garda ambulance, which transported the injured man to the takeoff point for transfer to the hospital for further examinations.
