A Moroccan man created an atmosphere of fear at a lakeside establishment in Desenzano by approaching a group of young foreign tourists in a hostile manner. Without any provocation, the man threatened the youths with extreme violence, mimicking the gesture of cutting a throat while brandishing a folding knife. This intimidating act caused panic among those present, forcing the young people to flee in terror. Thanks to the prompt intervention of the local police, the 31-year-old was apprehended, and during a search, he was found to be in possession of the knife.
The individual has been reported for aggravated threats and unjustified possession of objects capable of causing harm. Authorities have forwarded the case to the Anti-Crime Division of the Brescia Police Headquarters, which confirmed that the immigrant had already been subject to a Daspo order since January. Due to the severity of his behavior and the recurrence of illegal conduct, Police Chief Paolo Sartori issued an expulsion order from Desenzano, prohibiting him from returning to the tourist center for three years. Should he violate this order, the man faces up to one year and six months in prison and a fine of up to 10,000 euros; the Police Headquarters is also considering the possible revocation of his residence permit.
