July 18, 2025, marks a pivotal moment for Agraria Riva del Garda with the inauguration of the expansion of its sustainable winery, a significant step towards the future and growth in the Trentino wine sector. This project, initiated in response to increased production and market demands, not only enhances production capacity but also underscores the cooperative’s commitment to sustainable practices and the circular economy. Massimo Fia, the general manager, emphasized how this new area will allow for the consolidation of achieved results and investments in quality and sustainability.
The expansion includes three key spaces: a new storage cellar for optimal wine preservation, a renovated barrel room dedicated to the aging of the most representative wines, and a specific area for the production of the Trento DOC “Brezza Riva.” These developments are part of a growth trajectory that has seen revenue reach 15 million euros over the past seven years. Giorgio Planchenstainer, president of the cooperative, stated that this investment represents not only a production opportunity but also a vote of confidence in the future of cooperative work in the region.
