Alpini Festival at Cima Rest: tradition and community in Magasa
On Sunday, August 31, the Alpini Festival will take place at Cima Rest, an event organized by the Alpini Groups of Magasa and Valvestino. The day will kick off at 10:00 AM with a gathering in the village square, followed by a parade to the Alpini chapel, accompanied by the Stars of Alps band from Villanuova. At 10:45 AM, there will be a flag-raising ceremony, and the mass will commence at 11:00 AM.
After the religious celebration, food stands will open to offer participants the traditional meal, with a particular focus on the spit-roasted dishes, for which reservations are appreciated. This event represents an important opportunity for community gathering and celebrates alpine traditions in a picturesque setting.
