The Alpini Festival in Tignale, scheduled for the last Sunday in July, is set to celebrate local culinary traditions with a particular focus on the Brescian spit. This event, which attracts both visitors and residents, was recently featured in an article in Orobie magazine, highlighting not only the festival itself but also the gastronomic specialties of the area. The municipality emphasized the importance of this initiative, supported by the “Innovacultura 2024” grant from the Lombardy Region, which aims to promote sustainable development and slow tourism in the region.
Additionally, the Cima Piemp refuge will be open daily from April 5 to October 31, providing refreshments to visitors (by reservation) and serving as an ideal starting point for excursions in the stunning surrounding nature. Outdoor enthusiasts can reach the refuge by car or mountain bike from Gardola, or via a network of scenic trails. Thus, the Alpini Festival represents a significant opportunity to enhance the cultural and gastronomic heritage of Tignale.
