A new project for alternative traffic routes to Tormini has been initiated by the Mountain Community of Alto Garda Bresciano Park, aimed at alleviating the congested traffic along the Gardesana, particularly during the peak tourist season. Recently, an accident has further exacerbated the situation, leading to long queues and inconveniences for drivers. The president of the Mountain Community, Franceschino Risatti, emphasized the importance of addressing the traffic issues in the area and announced concrete proposals for an alternative route that will connect Tormini to Gargnano and continue on to Limone.
Risatti also mentioned delays in the project for a tunnel between Gargnano and Tignale, caused by the absence of some necessary approvals. However, the final plan is expected to be ready in the autumn, thus responding to the urgent need to improve travel conditions not only for tourists but also for commuters and local residents.
