A call for applications has recently been opened by APSS for the selection of 8 new family doctors aimed at strengthening healthcare coverage in the regions of Alto Garda, including Riva, Dro, Ledro, Nago-Torbole, and Arco. This initiative is part of the National Collective Agreement and seeks to ensure adequate healthcare for all citizens of Trentino, with a particular focus on the accessibility of medical offices. The need for healthcare professionals in underserved areas has been approved by the General Director of APSS and will be published in the BUR and on the official company website on April 16.
The call for applications includes the assignment of 47 vacant positions to doctors in the unified role of primary care starting from 2025, with the aim of safeguarding the work of professionals and ensuring effective coverage even in valleys and urban outskirts. Regarding Alto Garda and Ledro, a total of 8 positions will be distributed: three in Riva del Garda, one in Dro, one in the Pietramurata district, one in Ledro, one in Nago-Torbole, and one in Arco.
