The Accanto call has been launched, a support measure for separated, divorced, and widowed parents in Lombardy, with a total financial allocation of 1,500,000 euros. The call offers contributions that vary up to a maximum of 2,500 euros for families with an ISEE of up to 20,000 euros, and 1,500 euros for those with an ISEE of up to 30,000 euros. This initiative was announced by the regional assessor for Family, Social Solidarity, Disability, and Equal Opportunities, Elena Lucchini, and aims to provide tangible help to families facing critical situations such as separations or bereavements.
The call includes three lines of intervention: the ‘Care and Growth’ line for children’s healthcare expenses, the ‘One Step Forward’ line dedicated to educational support, and the ‘Home and Future’ line aimed at rent and mortgage assistance. Interested parents can contact the nearest Family Center for assistance in creating a personalized project that includes the necessary support proposals for their children’s growth. This initiative seeks to ensure effective support during delicate phases of family life, thus providing significant assistance to struggling families in Lombardy.
