In Bardolino, from **April 18** to **October 7**, **night watchmen** will be on duty, thanks to an agreement with Security Verona srl. These professionals will ensure **tourist safety** during weekends, operating from 10 PM to 3 AM, with an extension until 4 AM in July and August. Each shift will include at least two watchmen, supported by colleagues for urgent interventions. Concurrently, the local police force has been strengthened with the hiring of four new seasonal officers, who will patrol the area daily until **November 10**, focusing on the historic center and surrounding districts.
In addition to the watchmen, the municipality has engaged three inspectors to monitor parking in paid areas. These operators will utilize modern tools such as handheld devices and pedal-assisted bicycles to facilitate verification operations. Commander Francesco De Santis emphasized that these measures are aimed at enhancing the overall safety of the town in anticipation of the summer tourist influx, while Mayor Daniele Bertasi announced the installation of a new surveillance system to further increase urban protection.
