Bardolino Pursues Bid to Become Italy’s Cultural Capital 2029
Bardolino has officially launched its bid to become the 2029 Italian Capital of Culture, with a public presentation held on February 9 at the Town Hall’s Wedding Hall. The event featured local officials, project leaders, and cultural figures, outlining the initiative’s goals, vision, and methodology.
The campaign builds on existing projects such as the redevelopment of Villa Carrara Bottagisio Park, the creation of a dynamic memory museum in Sala Preonda, and the archaeological and naturalistic park at Rocca, developed in partnership with Garda. Future steps include engaging citizens, associations, schools, and businesses through upcoming workshops and calls for participation.
