Gargnano’s Citrus Gardens Earn UNPLI Quality Event Recognition

Garda Notes reports that the 10th edition of Giardini d’Agrumi, dedicated to Gargnano’s lemon houses, received the “Event of Quality” award from UNPLI, recognized during a ceremony in Rome on March 15 and in the Senate on March 16, 2026. The event, organized since 2015 and scheduled for April 18-19, features guided visits to over 20 lemon houses, a historical tools exhibition, and cultural activities in the San Francesco cloister.

The event is organized by Pro Loco Gargnano and Terre&Sapori d’alto Garda with support from local authorities, schools, and associations. It involves over 50 volunteers, including students from Liceo Fermi, Minoprio, and Caterina de’ Medici hospitality school, and includes markets, art installations, musical performances, and a cooking show. Additionally, the event was among three regional initiatives awarded “Event of Quality” by UNPLI, alongside celebrations in Borno and Guidizzolo.
