Bardolino: A foreign national has been reported for selling counterfeit goods along the lakeside.
On Friday, February 7, local police officers responded to a report of suspicious behavior near Piazza Lago in Cisano. Upon stopping the individual, the officers discovered high-fashion accessories of dubious origin, including bags, belts, and branded jackets, displayed on a bench along the Cisano-Lazise promenade. The goods were confiscated from a soccer bag.
During subsequent checks, it was revealed that the foreign national was illegally residing in Italy, as he had been issued a denial decree for the renewal of his residence permit dating back to 2017. The officers informed the magistrate and took the individual to the Command for further verification. In addition to the report for receiving stolen goods related to the counterfeit merchandise, the individual is required to appear at the Police Headquarters in Brescia on Monday, February 10, to regularize his status. After the formalities, he was released pending trial for the offense of receiving stolen goods.
