Bedizzole mourns Lorenzo Pollini, scrap dealer entrepreneur

Bedizzole has recently bid farewell to Lorenzo Pollini, a pioneer of Brescia’s entrepreneurship, who passed away at the age of 91. His charismatic presence left a profound mark not only on the local community but also in various regions of Northern Italy, where his name became synonymous with integrity and innovation in the car dismantling industry. In 1986, he founded Autodemolizione Pollini, having started his business in the 1960s with great dedication and humility. Today, his company stands as one of the most significant players in the sector, boasting eleven operational locations and over three hundred employees.

By his side worked his wife Domenica and their children Fiorella, Giuseppe, Maurizio, and Simone, who continue to manage the company alongside their grandchildren. In a heartfelt tribute, the company expressed gratitude for the solid foundations laid by Lorenzo and the values he instilled over the years. The funeral will take place on Saturday, July 19, at 10 AM at the parish church of Santo Stefano in Bedizzole, preceded by a vigil at his home on Via Benaco. On this day, all company locations will remain closed in mourning.
