Benacense Scholarship: Environmental and Historical Research Awards
The sixth competition for the «Benacense Territory and Environmental Quality» scholarship has been announced by the Arilican municipal administration in collaboration with the Parco Natura Viva of Bussolengo. The funds allocated for this recognition amount to seven million and are intended for thesis works at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels discussed over the past three academic years.
Of these, four are for theses exploring historical, artistic, social, economic, administrative, and urban topics, and three focus on environmental issues but always related to the Arilica and Lake Garda area. Special consideration will be given to theses centered on the Fortress of Peschiera, in commemoration of the 450th anniversary of its founding.
Submission and Evaluation Procedures
Works, along with the required documentation, must be submitted by February 28 to the following address: Culture Department of the Comune di Peschiera del Garda (VR), Cap 37019 – sixth competition for the «Benacense Territory and Environmental Quality» scholarship. Theses will be evaluated by a committee chaired by the mayor or their delegate (without voting rights) and by three members with proven cultural expertise appointed by the administration.
The committee will award prizes to deserving theses, each of which will receive an amount not less than one million euros, reserving the right not to award any work if it deems none suitable.
