Beware of Fake Carabinieri Scammers Offering Magazine Subscriptions

Pretend to be Carabinieri when calling hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurateurs in the Middle and Upper Garda area, offering subscriptions to magazines associated with the force.

They are not military personnel, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to finance, the police, firefighters, or municipal officers.

Recognizing the scams

They often propose subscriptions to non-existent magazines or magazines that have nothing to do with law enforcement agencies.

Therefore, stay alert and immediately notify the real Carabinieri — simply dial 112 — as soon as you suspect you have been targeted by individuals who,
