A tragic event has shaken Toscolano Maderno as a floating body was reported in the lake’s waters around 11:00 AM today. The passerby who made the call indicated that the body was located approximately 10 meters from the shore, near the Spiaggia degli Ulivi. The rescuers who arrived on the scene confirmed the discovery of the lifeless body of a middle-aged woman, for whom resuscitation attempts by the 118 medical team were unfortunately unsuccessful.
The recovery of the body was carried out with the assistance of the Coast Guard and the Fire Brigade.
