Brescia, nightclub closure for public safety after shooting

The Police Headquarters of Brescia has ordered the closure of the Just Me nightclub for a period of 30 days, following a serious incident of violence that occurred on the night between Saturday and Sunday. At around 3:40 AM on November 9, two individuals armed with semi-automatic pistols opened fire at the entrance of the venue, causing significant damage and endangering the safety of those present as well as passersby. The shooting was reportedly preceded by an internal altercation within the club, raising significant concerns regarding public safety. The measure was issued by Police Chief Sartori in response to the social alarm triggered by the incident, highlighting the necessity to ensure the safety of citizens and prevent the recurrence of similar events.
