Brescia Police Charge Couple with Assault and Fraudulent Insolvency
A couple involved in a restaurant assault linked to a fraudulent insolvency incident was detained in Brescia city center. After dining without paying, the 41-year-old woman and 34-year-old man fled, prompting the restaurant owner to call police. During a chase through the streets, the woman was stopped but assaulted the owner with slaps and scratches, while the man attacked with kicks and punches.
Police, assisted by surveillance footage, arrested the pair and took them to the police station. They are being investigated for fraudulent insolvency and aggravated injuries. The Brescia police chief has issued an oral public security warning against both individuals.
