The municipal administration of Calcinato has launched a new initiative dedicated to newborns, introducing a “welcome kit” to greet the infants residing in the municipality. Starting from July 1st, each child will be entitled to a gift bag containing essential products for early childhood, accompanied by a welcome message and informational material for parents. The kits will be delivered directly at the registration desk for those who register at the municipality, while children registered through the hospital will receive their kits at home, thanks to the collaboration with the local section of the Carabinieri Association of Retired Officers.
The councilor for Social Services, Elena Ringhini, emphasized that this initiative represents a “simple yet symbolic, but concrete” gesture aimed at providing families with a small support during this significant time. Additionally, kits will also be delivered to those born before June 30 in the coming months, further strengthening the bond between the municipality and its citizens from the very first days of life.
