Campione del Garda hosts the national Formula 18 regatta
The Italian Formula 18 Championship will take place on July 26 and 27, 2025 at the Univela sailing center in Campione del Garda, attracting crews from various nations. This national regatta, featuring over 20 teams from Italy, Germany, Finland, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, and Denmark, promises to be an event filled with adrenaline and technical competition. The Formula 18 class, known for its lightweight and high-performance catamarans, provides an ideal stage for sailors seeking international challenges.
Among the participants will be well-known names such as Marco Gambardella and Felice Cupane, who have already made their mark in European championships, as well as Andrea and Matteo Viganò, medalists in the Italian F18 Championship. Foreign crews, including Mikko and Kirsikka Räisänen from Finland, will also enhance the event.
