Canottieri Garda Dominates Salò Remo Regatta 2026 with Liutaio Cup Victory

Salò hosted the Agonali del Remo 2026 on March 21, with Canottieri Garda winning the event dedicated to Daniele Pavan. The regatta, resumed after a one-year hiatus, featured only master crews competing in men’s 8+ and women’s 4x categories, with a special single shell race in Pavan’s honor. The event also awarded the historic Coppa del Liutaio and the newer Coppa delle Rose.

In the final, Canottieri Garda’s mixed eight defeated Canottieri Mincio, with Gavirate finishing third; the Coppa delle Rose was claimed by CUS Pavia. Five men’s and five women’s teams from local and regional clubs participated, with support from Regione Lombardia and the Salò municipality. The Coppa del Liutaio is kept at MuSa.
