Car theft in Lonato del Garda: couple reported by the carabinieri
Two residents of Lonato del Garda, a couple aged 41 and 36, have been reported by the Carabinieri for aggravated theft in concert. The incident occurred on June 7, when they stole from a 36-year-old woman from Concesio (BS). The victim, after parking her car near the Desenzano motorway toll booth, discovered upon her return that someone had forced open the door and ransacked the interior of the vehicle, stealing clothes and personal items worth approximately 4,000 euros in total.
Following the report made to the Carabinieri of the Operational and Mobile Unit of Castiglione delle Stiviere, an investigation was launched that utilized surveillance camera footage. These inquiries led to a search warrant for the couple’s residence in Lonato, where the authorities found all the stolen items, which were subsequently returned to their rightful owner.
