Peschiera, robbery at Money Transfer: three men arrested, caught by cameras and fingerprints.
The Carabinieri of Peschiera del Garda executed a precautionary custody order today against three individuals involved in a robbery that occurred on August 9. Thanks to collaboration with the Companies of Castiglione delle Stiviere and Desenzano del Garda, two Brazilians and an Italian, all aged between 33 and 50, were arrested, one of whom was already detained in Prato. The investigations revealed strong evidence of their involvement in the aggravated robbery against the One Up Money Transfer agency.
In the incident, an armed robber struck the owner with the butt of a gun, inflicting injuries that would heal in 12 days, before fleeing with a haul of 12,000 euros on a stolen motorcycle. The intervention of the Carabinieri led to the acquisition of images from surveillance cameras and the analysis of fingerprints left at the crime scene. The evidence collected also allowed for the identification of a third accomplice who had waited for the robbers in a van nearby. Today’s arrests conclude an important investigative phase related to this criminal episode.
