Carabinieri Scams: How to Recognize Fake Calls in Garda Area

Pretending to be Carabinieri, they contact hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurants in Medio and Alto Garda by phone, offering subscriptions to military magazines.

They are not members of the military, but scammers who, at different times, claim to belong to the finance department, the police, the fire brigade, or the Comune firefighters.
