Carbon monoxide emissions in a holiday home in Colombare di Sirmione led to five young people being hospitalized. The incident occurred around 3:25 AM this Friday morning, when a group of young individuals contacted emergency services for assistance. Fortunately, help was dispatched promptly, with two ambulances, along with firefighters and carabinieri from the Desenzano Company, arriving on the scene. The five individuals involved, three girls and two boys aged between 22 and 23, were taken to the hospital for checks, but their conditions are not reported to be serious.

The firefighters conducted an inspection of the premises, discovering the presence of carbon monoxide, raising concerns about the safety of holiday homes. This event highlights the importance of maintaining tourist accommodations, emphasizing the need to equip them with carbon monoxide detectors and fire safety systems to ensure the safety of guests using combustion appliances.
