Quantum One: a Dialogue between Music and Astrophysics
On Saturday, August 9, at 9:00 PM, the Courtyard of Palazzo Pastore will host the show “Quantum One – The Sounds of the Universe.” The event offers a fusion of compositions by guitarist Andrea Vettoretti and sounds from space. The performance will feature the collaboration of Paolo Giommi, an astrophysicist and director of the Italian Space Agency, who has curated the selection of cosmic sounds and astrophysical projections. Joining Vettoretti on stage will be Riviera Lazeri on cello and Fabio Battistelli on clarinet, creating a trio that blends music and the cosmos. The show is designed as an immersive journey that starts from the Big Bang and arrives at Earth, combining music with real sounds such as those of pulsars and galaxies, along with images provided by the ASI.
