Cavaion Youth Perspectives Reveal Town’s Past, Present, and Future
A territory seen, studied, and interpreted through the eyes, mentality, and sensibility of young people — this is the core theme of a new book about Cavaion, which will be presented to the community and the public tomorrow, Thursday, May 10th, at 8:30 PM at the Eurocongressi Hotel.
The volume “The Kids and Their Town” is a collection of the most significant works produced by students from the middle and elementary schools of Cavaion and Pastrengo from 1990 to 2000 for the “Davide Giacomelli” competition. The book, which follows a previous selection titled “Cavaion: So We Rediscovered It”, features a cover with an open window overlooking the town and is divided into three parts: understanding the past to grasp the present, understanding the present to plan the future, and building a better world.
Presentation Details
The presentation will include performances by the “Davide Giacomelli” youth choir and recitations of poems and sonnets by Tolo Da Re. Free admission.
