Cavalcaselle Fair: food and wine events and rural tradition

The Antica Fiera di Cavalcaselle returns, an event that celebrates the local rural tradition, from November 14 to 17 on Mount San Lorenzo in Castelnuovo del Garda. This historic event, organized by the Pro Loco in collaboration with the municipal administration, has its roots in the past when shepherds would stop here during their transhumance. The program is packed with food and wine events, featuring markets and stalls dedicated to local products, along with activities for all ages, creating an atmosphere of conviviality and engagement for families and visitors. The inauguration will take place on Friday evening with a traditional briscola card game competition, followed by a non-competitive running event on November 16. Throughout the weekend, there will also be activities for children, such as saddle initiation and afternoon shows. Monday will conclude with historical encampments and workshops for the little ones, while Mass at the chapel of Madonna degli Angeli will further enrich the program.
