Cecilia Molinari to headline Spiaggia Olivi concert on August 6

Mezzosoprano Cecilia Molinari will be the featured performer at “Notte d’Estate” on Thursday, August 6 at 9:00 p.m. at Spiaggia Olivi in Riva del Garda. The concert, with flautist Roy Amotz and pianist Jean-Paul Pruna, is promoted by Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, sponsored by the Municipality of Riva del Garda, and is free with prior reservation. If the weather is bad, the event will be postponed to the following day.

The programme will focus on French and Italian chamber music, including works by Debussy, Ravel, Saint-Saëns, Viardot, Cilea, Zandonai, Respighi, Borne and Bizet, with voice, flute and piano accompanying the audience through different musical atmospheres. For Molinari, it will be her first recital performance in front of the public of her hometown, where she grew up, after an international career across major European and worldwide opera houses.

Spiaggia Olivi’s summer calendar continues on September 4 and 5 with two evenings under the “Dolceriva Night” banner. Riva del Garda Fierecongressi’s general director Alessandra Albarelli said the aim is to enhance one of the city’s landmark venues by combining culture, entertainment and music as a way to create new opportunities for people to meet.
