The CentoMiglia, a historic sailing regatta organized by the Circolo Vela Gargnano, is back in the spotlight with the announcement of its 75th edition, scheduled for September 6 and 7, 2025. This competition, held on the waters of Lake Garda, is the longest-running offshore regatta on inland waters in Italy, and this year it introduces significant technical innovations. For the first time, the overall ranking will be determined according to the ORC rules, making the race fairer and more accessible to all boats. Registrations are already open online, and all sailing enthusiasts are invited to participate.
In addition to the sporting events on the water, the onshore program promises moments of cultural gathering. Among the planned initiatives is the CentoMigliaFestival, which will feature film screenings and live performances to engage the audience. There will also be opportunities to follow the regatta via a large screen in Piazza di Bogliaco and through dedicated social media channels for real-time updates. Looking to the future, a possible new date for the subsequent edition in September 2026 is being considered to ensure greater participation and visibility for this event, which has long been a celebration of sailing on Lake Garda.
