The CentoMiglia, a historic sailing regatta, is set to celebrate its 75th edition on September 6 and 7, 2025. Organized by the Circolo Vela Gargnano, this event is the longest-running offshore competition on inland waters in Italy and will welcome boats from all over the world. This year, new features include the introduction of rankings according to the ORC regulations, ensuring a fairer competition among the various vessels. Registrations are already open online for all sailing enthusiasts.
In addition to the excitement on the water, the event will include onshore activities to engage the attending public. Live video connections and a large screen in Piazza di Bogliaco will be available to follow the regatta in real-time. Among the collateral initiatives, the CentoMigliaFestival will offer film screenings and family entertainment in the days leading up to the regatta. With these new features, the CentoMiglia not only celebrates its 75 years of history but also looks to the future with plans to move the next edition to 2026, ensuring greater participation and visibility for youth sailing events.
