The CentoMiglia, a historic sailing regatta, is gearing up to celebrate its 75th edition on September 6 and 7, 2025. Organized by the Circolo Vela Gargnano, this event is one of the longest-running competitions on inland waters in Italy. This year, the regatta introduces significant changes, including the adoption of the ORC rules for overall classifications, aimed at ensuring a fairer competition for all participating boats. Registrations are already open online and are aimed at all enthusiasts of offshore sailing.
In addition to the events on the water, the program includes a rich calendar of activities on land, such as film screenings and live concerts, creating a festive atmosphere for participants and spectators alike. The public will have the opportunity to follow the regatta through a GPS tracking system displayed on large screens in the square of Bogliaco. The CentoMiglia is not just a sporting event but a celebration of the sailing culture of the lake, engaging local communities and tourists in a shared experience that promises excitement and enjoyment.
